Abstract

The Training Programs for drilling and completion well designers are held by Petrobras University at the request of the E&P well engineering group in order to meet the shortage of specialists due to the huge growth of offshore rigs and opportunities for improvement identified in the project, logistics and implementation of the wells. The positive results of the program are evidenced and can be shown concretely with the historic completion of the project called True One Trip (TOT) engendered during the program in 2010 and with its first implementation in 2012.The reduction of 12 days in the completion time of injection wells due to the proposed technique has the potential to generate significant savings of approximately R$1.68 billion in the next four years (2013- 2017).
